2026 Arizona State JOAD Outdoor Championships hosted by Corner Archery and Corner Kidz JOAD.
Due to the USA Archery Calendar the 2026 USA Archery Arizona State JOAD Championships has been moved to a 1-day event for 2026. The day will begin with a 72 arrow qualification round, a lunch break, and then return for elimination rounds and medal matches. Awards will be presented as divisions are finished.
Guests are allowed to compete but are not eligible for the title of “State Champion”.
The archer and spectator areas will be separated by orange tape. Coaches and staff must have the proper credentials and the authorized wristbands to pass the orange tape.
Coaches/Staff credential paperwork must be submitted and processed before April 2, 2026 3pm.

Saturday April 4, 2026 - 72 Arrow Qualification
Two (2) Scoring of 36 arrows for a total of 72 arrows and a max score of 720.
10 Minute Intermission between Scoring Rounds

Target Face – Recurve and Barebow shooters will shoot at a 122cm target face. Compound and Fixed Pins shooters will shoot at a 80cm 6-ring target face.
YOUTH DIVISIONS:
U21 = “Junior” through the calendar year of their 20th birthday
U18 = “Cadet” through the calendar year of their 17th birthday
U15 = “Cub” through the calendar year of their 14th birthday
U13 = “Bowman” through the calendar year of their 12th birthday
“Yeoman” through the calendar year of their 9th birthday (Minimum age of 8) Must be able to SAFELY use a bow. Shooting is at discretion of tournament director. No Elimination rounds for this age category.
MEMBERSHIP – USAA/NAA membership listing Arizona residence is required to compete for the State Championship recognition. Archers maybe asked to show USAA membership card at the tournament check-in table. Link to USA Archery – NAA Membership

Payment is made at time of registration via Sport80. No registration is complete until payment is made. No same day registration.

JOAD registration fee: $50.00
Yeoman registration fee: $40

Registration is open until the venue is full, which may occur before the registration deadline of March 30, 2026 9:00 am. ***NO REFUNDS AFTER REGISTRATION CLOSES***NO SAME DAY REGISTRATION *********** USAA AZ residents will be given registration preference
FOOD / BEVERAGE
There WILL be food vendor on site from 10am - 1pm, Mi Amore Fire Oven Pizza. OR Food/Restaurants are located east of the I-17 on Carefree Hwy.
We anticipate temperatures to be warm and Corner Archery will supply free water to everyone available in coolers in multiple locations in the archers area as well as spectator areas.
