Format -

Round #1

  • Round #1 - 36 Arrow Ranking Round (Shot in conjunction with the 2018 Arizona State JOAD Outdoor Championships using the same timers and shooting format. (i.e.~ when the youth shoot... we shoot... on a separate area of the field).
  • Scores from Round #1 (360 Total Points Available) will then be used to divide field into three (3) flights. (i.e.~ 30 total shooters = 3 flights of 10)

Round #2

  • Round #2 - 36 Arrow Round (Shot in conjunction with the 2018 Arizona State JOAD Outdoor Championships using the same timers and shooting format. (i.e.~ when the youth shoot... we shoot... again... in a separate area of the field).
  • Round #2 will be shot against the archers in your specific flight. (i.e.~ with 30 total archers divided into 3 flights = 10 archers per flight. Flight #1 shoots for the money against the 10 archers in their flight. Flight #2 shoots against the archers in their flight, and Flight #3 shoots against the archers in their flight).
  • Final 36 Arrow Score will be used to determine final placement. Only 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each flight wins the money.

How the Payout worksEXAMPLE ONLY – WILL CHANGE DEPENDING ON HOW MANY ARCHERS REGISTER…. AGAIN.. EXAMPLE ONLY.

Using 30 archers registered for an example the following payouts would apply:

30 archers x $50 registration = $1500 total ($25 for the pot / $25 to take care of Ben Avery fee, Bale fee, field staff fee, etc...)

$1500 x 50% = $750 in total prize money

Flight #1 – 50% of $750 = $375 total split between 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.

Flight #1 – 1nd place = 50% of $375 = $187.50

Flight #1 – 2nd place = 30% of $375 = $112.50

Flight #1 – 3rd place = 20% of $375 = $75.00

Flight #2 – 30% of $750 = $225.00

Flight #2 – 1st place = 50% of $225 = $112.50

Flight #2 – 2nd place = 30% of $225 = $67.50

Flight #2 – 3rd place = 20% of $225 = $45.00

Flight #3 – 20% of $750 = $150

Flight #3 – 1st place = 50% of $150 = $75.00

Flight #3 – 2nd place = 30% of $150 = $45.00

Flight #3 – 3rd place = 20% of $150 = $30.00
